Changing My Way of Thinking
Happy Friday, Queens!!
Today we are going to talk about changing your way of thinking. On a typical day, my negative thoughts outweighed my positive thoughts. It felt like a constant battle between good and evil. My negative thoughts led me to not to believe in myself and stopped me from pursuing my business and other personal goals.
I kept telling myself you're not good enough, or you can't do it. To change my way of thinking, I did daily affirmation that encouraged me to look at the positive side of things. Read a book giving to me by my mother called God's Plan for Your Life: Overcoming Tough Times.
Even on the gloomiest day, I still say it's going to be a great day because it sets the tone for the rest of my day. I don't ponder on the things I can not change or have no control over. It frees my mind to think about the possibilities that lie ahead of me and just be in the moment.
Every day is still a battle, but I'm not where I used to be and now comfortable in my own skin to share my story with you.
