My Journey to HAPPINESS
I want to share my journey of finding my happiness! Most may not know, but I struggled with depression, the specific term is high- functional depression. A high- functional depressed person is a high achiever who is often negative or pessimistic in their outlook on their experiences as well as themselves. We struggle with self-doubt, appear irritable, and deal with worry or guilt that seems excessive.
This month I'm going to explain how forgiveness, my way of thinking, and not asking for help kept me from letting my light shine. I hope my story will help the next person dealing with depression find their light.
Remember it's a process, take it day by day and seek help. Below is an article by Pattie Richards about high-functional depression and its symptoms.
